The main differences between the OCULUS UB 3 and the new UB 3+ are as follows:
- Less weight than UB 3, better comfort for the wearer while measuring
- Laser printed scales, more resistant to dirt and scratches
- New lens holder in the back of the frame – no more dropping of trial lenses
- Built with stainless steel and anti-allergenic
- New gear rack – all nose pieces from OCULUS trial frames are usable, makes it easier to adapt to patient’s individual needs
- Control elements with riffle were changed for better handling and cleaning
- QR code printed on the frame enables traceability
- Polarizing filters for UB 3 still fit
